Our desire at Antioch is to reach our community and abroad with the gospel of Christ, as God gave charge in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-30: "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Members are encouraged to be part of the ministries as these ministries promote Christian growth, fellowship and a compassion for serving others. Ephesians 4:11-13 tells us, "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."

What does AWANA stand for?
- “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed” - from 2 Timothy 2:15.
Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community. During Awana's, children participate in game, counsel and book time. Awana at Antioch is for kids ages 3 through teens and is held on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM from September through May. We still have class during the summer but we don't have book time.
Awana is a wonderful ministry to be a part of. Whether you drive a van, teach a class, or assist in game time, there are so many ways you can partner in this ministry - and ultimately - point these children to Christ!
Antioch maintains a well stocked food pantry to help those in need in our community. Throughout the year, we plan special food pantry drives within the church to ensure we can meet the needs of those who come to use for help.

SUNDAY SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Antioch Sunday School classes start at 9:45 am every Sunday. Each Sunday School class is designed to meet your needs as a student, regardless of your age, and is based on God's Word. Sunday School is a great way to learn and ask questions about the Bible.
Children's Church dismisses during our handshake and greeting time of Worship Service on Sundays. We have two nurseries and two Children's Church classes. Children's Church I is for children grades kindergarten through 2nd and Children's Church II is for children in in grades 3rd through 5th. Children's Church is a time for children to have church on their level and includes singing, a time to give prayer requests and pray, and a lesson from God's Word. Usually, a snack is included in there, too!

Monthly Services at Montvue Nursing Home
There are many ways that Antioch ministers to those in need in our own church family and to those in the community with the help of backpacks and school supplies, Christmas gifts for the elderly and shut-ins and children in need, and much more. We support many missionaries and evangelists across the globe. We engage our youth with regularly scheduled events and outings. There is so much to do and so many to reach. Our prayer is that God will send more laborers.
"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
